The first week of the 6th Anniversary Contest is now over. Yes, it also means that the second week begins at this very moment with 48 shinny new prizes to find on a brand new game grid! These first 7 days proved to be very successful with over 37 million clicks made on the contest grid by more than 850 thousand different MSN users. Messenger Plus! is popular or what? ;)

I received many requests for statistics so I decided to post some of the most pertinent numbers. I’m also publishing a heat map generated with all the clicks made during the week which I find quite interesting. For those wondering about the long diagonal line, it’s the result of the simulated clicks made by some of the not-so-bright cheaters. Some people tried more advanced techniques but all failed. Once again, yes you can cheat but no you won’t receive any prize as a result so don’t bother. For starters, the individual click map of each winner is manually generated/checked and most of the time, that’s all it takes to disqualify cheaters :-).
